My serving bowls are thrown in either a red or white stoneware clay which is fired to vitrification, making them safe, functional and strong. (Feel free to keep your side dishes warm in the oven!) I design and throw them with a comfortable rim to frame the contents of the bowl. The rim holds the colorful glaze, frames the contents of the bowl and gives the handler a comfortable way to hold it.
Blue World bowls have beautiful swirls of turquoise and blue greens cascading from the rim. These bowls have 5 layers of glaze applied- No two are alike!
The Speckled White and the Teal glazed bowls are thrown with a red stoneware clay, which shows richly through the glaze.
The PinkBlue Sunset version is a deep pink base with several layers of blue mottled glaze painted over it.
Handcrafted on the potter's wheel by Meredith in her Fern Street Pottery Studio. These bowls are offered in various sizes and are thrown using stoneware clay, then trimmed to have a finished foot. This purchase is for one bowl but more may be available. They are made one at a time so no two are exactly alike, and no glaze patterns are exactly alike, although they are very well matched. The different sizes will stack within one another.

Peruse my shop for more handmade originals! Several sizes, mugs, pitchers, and tumblers to match may be available, as well as salt pots and oil cruets. Check my listings or contact me for matching peices.... (If you don't see it listed, just ask as I may have it in stock.)
The measurements of the bowls are approximate diameter at the outer edge of the rim.
