Northwest Mug in Speckled white on Red clay

This mug was thrown on the wheel by Meredith at Fern Street Pottery. The mug thrown with a tan stoneware clay then trimmed to have a finished foot. The pulled handle has a grove in it, curved perfectly for your thumb. The shape, which curves in at the top is specifically designed to keep your beverages warmer longer. After drying and firing I glazed it in a beautiful white glaze with brown specks in it, which accentuates the red clay underneath. This mug holds (approximately) a 14oz tall latté. It is lead free, microwave and dishwasher safe. This purchase is for one mug, but more may be available. They are made one at a time so no two are exactly alike, but they are very well matched. Check my listings or contact me for matching bowls, salt wells, oil cruets, pitchers.... Comfortable, roomy handle, four-finger-handle for most. lead-free glaze, dishwasher and microwave safe. I call this mug the Northwest Mug, because it is designed specifically to keep your large coffee warm for longer periods of time and to fit comfortably in your hands. Coffee tastes better in a handmade mug!

This style mug is available in several colors, please peruse my shop!

Also available in this Glaze: Coffee Pour Over, cream and sugar set, Trays, olive oil cruet, salt cellar, bowls, vases

Shipping from United States

Shipping is automatically calculated and added at checkout based on your zip code, the weight and size of the package. This costs you LESS than if I were to add "free" shipping as a blanket cost. Shipping is not one size fits all, and I make every effort to keep costs low. If I am able to combine multiple items into one package I will happily refund any shipping charges that are over-estimated.
Pottery will be shipped within 1-3 days (usually 1-2 days) via USPS. I choose Priority shipping as the cost includes up to $50 insurance (check with your carrier to be sure of current policy)
I use new boxes made from recycled materials. I wrap very carefully with clean, recycled air bubble bags for light weight shipping. Packages have a professional label presentation, with tissue inside, ready to be opened as a gift.
